Burning the Midnight Oil- U.S. RallyCross #1

Vineland NJ, 11:45 PM on the eve of the inaugural US Rally Cross, in the rear of the hotel where most of the teams are staying, we find driver Evan Cline and his two man crew about to pull yet another all nighter as they try to get his 1994 Mitsubishi GSR to the start line. “we need to get to scrutiny by 8am tomorrow morning, explains Evan, “we will be there” he says with confidence, “ I think we slept 7 hrs in the past 4 days, we just got the engine in the car, loaded it up and off we went, this is the first time it was running” Photo: Neil McDaid
