Breaking News: Rally is Alive and Well and Living in Canada!

Highlight footage from the 2014 Rallye Baie des Chaleurs, round 2 of the Canadian Rally Championship, featuring some of the best footage from the CRC TV camera crews.

Held in the Gaspé region of Quebec, the event featured more than 200km of competitive special stages split over two days of racing. Dry weather led to dusty conditions for nearly every competitor. The lack of visibility made cooperation between driver and codriver vital for success.

The Rallye Baie des Chaleurs draws some of the largest spectator crowds in North American Rally, and the 2014 edition was no exception. Fans gathered at the legendary Camp Brulé hairpin, and the Saut a Cinq jump to cheer on their favourite teams.

The Canadian Rally Championship is comprised of six events held nationwide in a season that extends from February to November. The series is presented by Subaru Canada, supported by Yokohama Tire Canada and features a contingency program from Subaru Canada.

The Canadian Association of Rallysport (CARS) is the official sanctioning body for rallying in Canada. For more about rally in Canada, visit http://www.carsrally.ca
