PRESS ON REGARDLESS

With some of the toughest conditions seen in a few years at this years Rally in the 100AW, the guys and gals in 2WD were faced with the greatest challenge with these limited traction. Unlike competing in Europe on WRC events where studded tires are allowed on snow covered rally's like Monte Carlo and Rally Sweden, there are no studs allowed on the Rally America championship.

Current Rally America 2WD points leader Troy Miller and co driver Steven Harrell faced an extra challenge on day two, after getting two punctures on the opening stages, and only having one spare, the team was faced with retirement from the rally or pushing on regardless of the treacherous conditions on three good tires.

Throwing caution to the wind Miller pushed on, the team would race and transit over 50miles on the flat reaching speeds over 70mph along the way before getting back to service. Despite time lost, Miller was able to grab 3rd overall on the podium. Sit back and enjoy the ride!
